At Love Elementary, we prioritize the growth and development of every student, including those who demonstrate exceptional talents and abilities. Here’s how we support our gifted and talented students:

Universal Testing: Each year, all kindergarten and 5th-grade students participate in universal Gifted & Talented testing. Teachers and parents are also able to request testing for individual 1st – 4th-grade students in the fall of each school year.

Ongoing Teacher Training: All our teachers undergo yearly training to ensure they are equipped to meet the unique needs of gifted students effectively.

Individualized Gifted Education Plans (GEP): Once identified as Gifted & Talented, teachers create an individualized Gifted Education Plan for each student.

Enrichment Opportunities: Additionally, we provide a weekly class for our gifted students to work on the Renzulli platform. Students create a culminating project based on their interests that is presented at the campus’s annual GT Expo.
